The class objective is to teach young children to be safe in and around water through flipping and floating.
At no time is a child ever drown proof. Our goal is to teach a child through proven skills to stay afloat for seconds/minutes and increase their chances of being seen and rescued.
Petey’s pups is designed for children 3 months to 2.99 years.
This is a month long class that meets 3 days a week.
This class will provide the best teaching techniques for a child to be successful. Following the proper positioning techniques, order of curriculum and understanding that crying is a part of learning to swim.
This class is a more intense way of learning than our regular perpetual class. We will meet 3 times a week for 4 weeks. It should decrease the time your child is uncomfortable in the water and with a stranger. After the initial month, we would like to move your child into our traditional program of lessons once a week.
In this program, there are two different levels.
Level 1
This level is designed for a parent and child to learn to swim one on one through a teacher. The parent will be in the water with their child and instructed what skills to perform with their child. Once the child has built confidence and willingness to swim with the teacher, the parent will be slowly transitioned out of the water.
Level 2
This level is designed for a child to be in the water one on one with a teacher.
Lori's H2O Skills teams up with
