Lori Weber, Founder and Operator of Lori's H2O Skills, Co-Creator of Teaching Training Program in 2020, has been a Certified Pool and Spa Operator since 1996, along with Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid and AED certifications. She is a graduate of Milford High School and swam competitively at the University of Kentucky in 1992-93, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education/Recreation Fitness with emphasis in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University. She was also the Aquatics Director at M.A.C. for 4 years, Kids First Sports Center for 6 years, and for various YMCAs. She coached competitive swimming for various YMCA and USS swim teams. Lori conducted lessons at Beechmont Racquet and Fitness Club for a couple years prior to opening Lori's H2O Skills. In 2007, Lori travelled to Brisbane, Australia, where she studied swimming under one of the leading swim schools in the nation, Aquatic Achievers. In June 2013, Lori lost her father, Loren “Pete” Wilson, to lung cancer. Pete was a well- known educator in Southeastern Ohio and Northern Kentucky. He saw Lori’s gift and gave her the courage to go forth and the determination to succeed.
Our staff is safety certified and continues education regularly. We have a dedicated group of people who strive to ensure your swimmer has an excellent experience.
Pool/Maintenance Manager
Kyle Weber, Manager/Operator and Maintenance Director of Lori’s H2O Skills. He is a Certified Pool and Spa Operator, along with Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid and AED certifications. Kyle is a graduate of DeSoto High School, DeSoto, TX in 1989. He attended two years of college and then began a startup business with Duke Power. Kyle has backgrounds in business, PGA Golf and fence installation. His role is vital to maintaining the safety and operation of Lori’s H2O Skills.
Aquatic Manager
Tracy is the aquatic manager of Lori’s H2O Skills and a Certified Pool and Spa Operator. She graduated from Milford High School in 1989, obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from The Ohio State University in 1993. Tracy is Co-Creator of Teacher Training Program and Trainer, Lifeguard, First Aid and AED. After, graduating from OSU, Tracy became a Pre-School Teacher for 20 years. She loves working with kids! Tracy is married and has two wonderful children, Ashley and Ben. Her hobbies include watching her kids play sports, hiking, reading and scrapbooking. She looks forward to seeing everyone at Lori’s H2O Skills!
General Manager
Amy Conover is our general manager and a Certified Pool and Spa Operator. She graduated in 1988 from Milford High School and received an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant license and worked in Milford in the dental field for over 30 years. She recently retired from the dental field and decided it was time for a career change. She has 3 sons, Kody, Ethan, and Cole and 2 “bonus” daughters, Nicolette and Madison. Her hobbies are spending time with her family and she loves to read. She is proud to be a part of the Milford community. She looks forward to seeing you and helping you anyway she can at Lori’s H2O Skills.

Liz is a Certified Pool and Spa Operator. She grew up in the Goshen/Blanchester area and currently lives in Mt Orab. She is a home school graduate of 1998. Liz previously worked as an assembly line leader and enjoys working with people. Liz enjoys spending time with her grandkids and her fur babies.

Meda is one of our Front Desk Receptionists who grew up in Milford as she attended St. Andrew's Catholic School and graduated from Milford High School in 1967. She started her career in the insurance industry in Cincinnati and after she moved to Venice, FL., she continued her career in insurance specializing in corporate/consumer property, casualty, disaster, and personal life insurance. After 40 years of a successful career, she finally retired in 2013 and moved back to Milford to be closer to old friends and family (3 daughters and 5 grandchildren). Meda is enjoying her retirement, reacquainting with old friends and getting more involved in the community. She is CPR/First Aid/AED certified and is ready to welcome all of our guests to Lori's H2O Skills.

My name is Lisa, I was a school bus driver for over 20 years. After retiring from bus driving, I decided to continue my education. I became a Certified Administrative Professional. I enjoy being around children and came to work at Lori's H2O as a welcome Representative.

Swim Teacher
Joni is a part time swim instructor at Lori’s H20 when she is needed. She has taught classes for Lori in the past and loves spending time in the water, watching students grow through the different levels. Joni is an Intervention Specialist for Cincinnati Public Schools, and has worked for Clermont County Development Disabilities for the past 7 years. At CCDD Joni participated in “Sensory Swim” with her class three times a week and loved working with different students teaching them basic swim skills and supporting them during Special Olympics. When Joni isn’t at work, she chases around three children (15, 13, and 10) and husband who love to play sports and be involved in their community. Joni is a bubbly person who loves to smile and make others laugh.

After a fulfilling career in HR, Candy retired from corporate life in June 2023. She enjoys spending time with her family, including 6 adult children and 6 (soon to be 7!) grandchildren. Leisure activities include reading, quilting, and traveling. A former Lori’s student, Candy looks forward to meeting and assisting families.

Hi, my name is Jillian and I am so excited to be a part of the Loris H2O team! I have been swimming with Lori since I was 3 months old, swam competitively for 4 years and counting! I swam competitively since I was 9 years old. I graduated from Mother of Mercy high school in 2001. I graduated from The University of Findlay in 2005 with a BFA in Children's Book Illustration. I illustrated a published children's book by Cincinnati native Cyndy Driehaus immediately following graduation. I found my niche teaching children and had additional education through The Greater Cincinnati Center for Montessori Education. I had my son in Feb 2014 and began working as a 2nd shift caregiver for developmentally disabled adults so I could spend the day caring for my baby. I am extremely happy to be back in the water!!!

Phyllis Drilling is a Water Aerobics and Swim Lessons teacher at Lori's H2O Skills. She graduated from a small high school no one's ever heard of (but they went to KY Sweet 16 in 1948!) and grew up swimming in the KY River. She earned a BS in math education from EKU in 1970 and MA from UK, also math education, 1974. She's taught Bible school, CCD, 7-12th grade math & adults, subbed all grade levels K-12 and subjects, been a Girl Scout leader, soccer coach, PTA/PTO worker, and water aerobics instructor. She is mother of four successful, wonderful Milford High and college graduates and a grandmother. She and her husband moved their family to Milford from the Lexington, KY area when their youngest daughter was 1-1/2 so she has worked on school functions for 29-1/2 years. Hobbies are gardening, reading, traveling & watching the grandson grow.

Hi my name is Lauren Best. I’m currently a senior at Clermont Northeastern High School. After I graduate high school, I plan to go to college and become a nurse practitioner. When I was young, I learned to swim from Lori and have always loved being in the water since then. I was never a competitive swimmer growing up but I was always very active and played basketball and soccer. I spend most of my time at Lake Cumberland swimming, water skiing and surfing. I love being able to teach kids how to swim because it’s something they will remember and use the rest of their lives! I love being in the water with them and seeing them improve.

Julia grew up in Dayton, Ohio and feels grateful to have the opportunity to expand her horizons to Milford, Ohio. She has loved swimming since the day she was born and competed from age 3-18. Now that Julia is older, she loves getting to teach all ages how to swim and be safe in and around the water. I believe that swimming is not just a vital life skill but also a fantastic way for kids to build confidence, make friends, and enjoy an active lifestyle. Retired from corporate America and a former University professor Daniese joined the Lori's H2O staff encouraged by her friend teacher/swim instructor Phyllis. After spending the last few years in water areobics classes becoming a swim instructorwas a natural progression. Grace is a freshman at Xavier University studying Nursing. She is one of four children and they were/still all competitive swimmers. Grace's family grew up in the pool and love spending time together swimming. She was a competitive swimmer for Milford Area Swim Team for 10 years. Grace was also on varsity all four years of high school at McNick. I work full time for Siemens and I work as a substitute teacher and closer at Lori's when needed. I live in Owensville and my husband and I are raising three beautiful girls (2 that work here). Hobbies are gardening, yoga, walking, and watching lots of soccer games. I love teaching at Lori's because swimming is an important skill that everyone should have!
